Handmade felted soap from the great state of Maine! We produce and sell handmade felted soaps, hand-spun yarn, and a variety of hand-knit products made with natural fiber sourced from our own angora rabbits, as well as fiber producers all across the state of Maine.
Beautiful colors, wonderful scents, and a pleasure to use! Made using wool sourced from our own sheep, and sheep from across the state of Maine.
The wool is washed, processed, dyed and felted by me and my family. The soaps, which are all handcrafted by us, are then wrapped in wool and agitated until the wool forms a sheath around the soap. The soap can then be used by getting it wet and sudsing it up!
These soaps make great gifts for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. They are long-lasting and highly portable, only needing water to work up a good lather - no washcloth needed!
Felted soaps are also great for gardeners and mechanics, where hard-to-remove dirt and grime is a problem, and for physically compromised people who may have difficulty with slippery soap.
Other uses include putting it in your clothes drawer to make your clothes smell wonderful, or under your pillow to help you sleep!
MoonCrazy Fibre Arts offer a standard, flat-rate shipping price of only $5.00 per order, or free shipping on orders of $50 or more!

Owner and Operator
We are a small, family farm located in Oxford County, Maine, owned and operated since 2007.
Our mission is to provide handmade products made from locally sourced materials from Maine farmers and growers, in a manner that is safe for all living things and a joy to use. We are intent on promoting awareness of the many benefits of using resonsibly wild-crafted and organically grown plants as well as fiber harvested from loved and cherished animals.
Our truly natural products are handmade in Maine, biodegradable, minimally packaged with recyclable materials, and we use no synthetic fragrances or colors. We try to be mindful of every purchase we make and strive to support fair trade, local, organic, and sustainable businesses.
